About us
A Norwegian tool for speech to text
Sayable is built in Norway by A-JOB AS. We make one tool that turns speech into text: dictation on Mac, recording of online meetings and AI summaries, with privacy as the starting point and Norwegian as the first language.
Why Sayable exists
Sayable started as a dictation tool for Mac, because we were tired of writing what we could just as easily say. Then came the meetings: hours of talk that somebody had to summarise afterwards. We built the tool we wanted ourselves, one place where meetings and thoughts turn into finished text, summaries and searchable notes.
What we believe
- Norwegian first. Transcription and summaries should work as well in Norwegian as in English. Sayable supports Norwegian and more than 90 other languages.
- Privacy by default. On Mac, both transcription and AI summaries can run locally on the machine, with no cloud. Cloud features are a choice, not a requirement.
- You own your content. We never sell data and do not train models on your meetings. Delete whenever you want.
- One tool, every surface. The same account on Mac, in the browser and on the web. Your meetings follow you.
Who is behind it
Sayable is developed and operated by A-JOB AS, a Norwegian company. The service is operated in Europe and recordings are stored encrypted in the EU. Read more about how we handle data in the privacy policy.
