Terms

The agreement, in plain words

These are the terms for using Sayable. We have kept them short and understandable. If you have questions, just write to us.

In short: You own your content. You only pay if you choose a subscription, and you can cancel whenever you want. We deliver the service as well as we can, and you use it lawfully.

1. Who the agreement applies to

Sayable is provided by A-JOB AS. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you use Sayable on behalf of a business, you confirm that you can bind that business to the agreement.

2. The service

Sayable records, transcribes and summarises speech: dictation, meetings and voice notes, on Mac, iPhone, in the browser and as a Chrome extension. The features are developed continuously, and we may change, improve or remove individual features. Significant reductions are announced in advance.

3. Account and trial

Signing in is passwordless: you get a one-time code and a link by email. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. New users get a free trial with full access; when it expires, the account moves to the free plan with limited quotas. The trial requires no payment card and stops by itself.

4. Subscription and payment

  • Sayable Pro costs 149 NOK/month or 1490 NOK/year. Prices are always shown before purchase.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled.
  • You can cancel whenever you want and keep Pro for the rest of the paid period. An already paid period is not refunded, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
  • Price changes are announced at least 30 days before they take effect for running subscriptions.

5. Your content

Recordings, transcripts, summaries and notes are yours. We get only the access needed to deliver the service (storage, transcription, AI features), and never use your content to train models or for marketing. How the data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which is part of this agreement. If you delete a meeting or the account, the content is deleted from us.

6. Your responsibility

You use Sayable in accordance with applicable law. Especially important: make sure you are allowed to record the conversations you take part in, and inform meeting participants where the law requires it. If you share a summary or recording via a share link, you are responsible for the sharing being lawful, including that the meeting participants know about and accept the sharing when a recording is shared. Do not use the service to violate other people's rights, circumvent quotas or disrupt operations.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep Sayable stable and available, but cannot guarantee error-free operation. The service is provided “as is”. Our total liability is limited to what you have paid for the service over the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be disclaimed under Norwegian law, and consumers' statutory rights are not affected.

8. Termination

You can close your account whenever you want. We may close accounts that breach the terms, with notice where that is reasonable. On termination your content is deleted in accordance with the privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update the terms; significant changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. The agreement is governed by Norwegian law, with venue in Norway.
